The members of Macon's Wedding ring are deeply saddened by the passing of our friend, and our group's founder, Karen Holleman. Each of us had the greatest respect for Karen as a person and as a member of our professional community. She will be greatly missed.

In keeping with Karen's dedication to professionalism, her assistant, Amanda Meadows and staff will continue the business in keeping Karen's legacy alive. You can rest assured that if you entrusted Karen with your special event, that you will receive your cake as agreed.

Karen Jones Holleman -MACON - Karen Jones Holleman, 52, died Saturday, March 10, 2007 of cancer at the Coliseum Medical Center in Macon. Funeral services will be held 11A.M. Tuesday in Forest Hills United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Shane Green and Rev.Frank Harris will be officiating. -As the owner of Karen Holleman Cakes, she was affectionately known as "The Cake Lady". Karen was also the co-founder of Macon's Wedding Ring. -She is survived by her husband Bruce V. Holleman of Macon; daughters, Mandi Bombard of Forsyth, Bethany Hamilton of Macon; son, Courtney Hamilton of Macon; mother and father, Rev. Wesley Jones and Mae Jones; step-children, Brooke Holleman of Atlanta, Shawn Holleman of Atlanta, and Linton Holleman of Macon; sisters, Sherrell Goolsby of Silver Spring Maryland, Anita Novak of Franklin, NC, Patsy Brimmer of Locust Grove, GA; six grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Karen's donations account at Atlantic Southern Bank to help with medical bills. -The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Monday evening in the funeral home. -Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery has charge of arrangements.
